This website and eGroups list are for the official use of the Kern County Democratic Central Committee and its chartered clubs. Together they will will serve two purposes: as a source of announcements, distributing information about meetings, events and issues that require attention as they arise and where subscribers can discuss and debate issues and concerns of the local Democratic Party. The website and eGroups list will be moderated, which means that subscriptions must be apporoved before they are added to the list or post messages. While the KernDemocrats.com is a devout proponent of free speech, membership is not meant to include Republicans or other independent party members, as we will be discussing our own in-house strategy and information. All posts will be read by all subscribers, so if you wish to e-mail someone on a personal matter, do not post it to the list. This is a business type website and list; no hoaxes, jokes, poems, etc. should be posted, though of course some humor may be expressed as part of a discussion. Information garnered from other lists may be posted, but courtesy is expected in the number and nature of these posts. All posts should deal directly with the Democratic Party, elections, candidates, or the Kern County Democratic Central Committee.
